Metatecno manufactures electrolyzer cells and provides repair, coating and membrane-gap retrofit services for chlor-alkali ion membrane electrolyzers. The work is reviewed according to drawings, cell structure, coating condition, sealing surface condition and operating requirements.
Service scope
The electrolyzer cell business covers new cell manufacturing, maintenance of existing ion membrane electrolyzers, membrane-gap retrofit, frame palladium plating and titanium-palladium alloy retrofit. The same engineering review also supports metal-anode electrolyzer cells and chlorate electrolyzer manufacturing or repair.

Technical capabilities
The service can be reviewed for DD350, UHDE-type, INEOS-type, Asahi Kasei-type, Bluestar, Chlorine Engineers and other ion membrane electrolyzer platforms. Model names are used only to describe compatibility and maintenance application.Repair and coating
Used cells can be evaluated for sealing surface repair, coating condition, frame condition and dimensional restoration.
Membrane-gap retrofit
Existing equipment can be reviewed for membrane-gap conversion to support higher current density operation after engineering confirmation.
Frame retrofit
Frame palladium plating and titanium-palladium alloy conversion are handled according to the operating medium and cell structure.
Chlorate cell service
Manufacturing and repair support is available for chlorate electrolyzer cells where drawings and operating conditions are provided.
